Freeze Screen
You can temporarily freeze the screen by pressing and holding the front control panel's Settings 
button on the TV until Freeze on message appears on top left-hand corner of the TV. 
You can also press and hold the Settings button 
on the remote control until Freeze message appears on top left-hand corner of the TV
Unfreeze Screen
To unfreeze just repeat the process above untill Freeze on message disappears from the left-hand corner of the TV.
